I was very excited leading into the year in January after having my first markets and selling my first range of tea towels. The year seemed full of promise and I was determined to create more designs and more products to sell. Then Covid hit and it shook everyone....
Now we are at the end of the year and here we are again leading into Christmas. I have new designs and new products to sell (visit my Shop), even though the world seemed to grind to a halt, particularly more for some, than others.
Through it all I kept designing, keeping the light burning and now I am happy to open my shop on my website www.aliwilkinsondesigns.com
This year due to the lack of surety on getting fabrics made and delivered in a timely manner, I decided to add to my tea towel range and get fabrics from some other Australian designers and make aprons, oven mitts, bags and some additional tea towels. Designers Jocelyn Proust and Christie Williams are 2 of my favourite Australian designers and you can find their designs on various products in my Shop, as well as my own designs.
It is Christmas, so grab a fairly unique product and give the gift of handmade for someone you love, while supporting local creatives xx
